DiRT 3 Gets Release Date

Codemasters has announced that their upcoming rally-fest, DiRT 3, will be getting a worldwide release of May 24th on all formats. The game is set to feature double the amount of tracks that DiRT 2 had, including new locations in Finland, Kenya, Norway and Michigan. Rally content will account for 60 per cent of the game’s career mode.

Two new screenshots have also been released, and they can be found below.

  2. Just working my way through Dirt 2. Perfect timing methinks!

  3. ShopTo had it down for a March release. I’m glad it’s now May as there are a couple of games out Feb/Mar that I have pre-ordered.

  4. DiRT and DiRT 2 were fantastic, have high hopes for this one !

  7. Good to see a confirmed date and personally I’m glad its a little way off as I have plenty to keep me busy games wise at the mo.

  8. Excellent. Dirt 2 was one of my favourite platinums to obtain, great fun, online was just mental. Will be getting this one, that’s a certainty.

  9. wow that early? I thought Grid 2 would come out first…?

  10. Great to have a confirmed date for the ultimate in Rally games, May is more suitable as Shift 2 will be the dominant racing game leading up to that release date for me anyway.

    • With a lot more proper rally stages it may well be ‘the ultimate in Rally games’.
