Codemasters has announced that their upcoming rally-fest, DiRT 3, will be getting a worldwide release of May 24th on all formats. The game is set to feature double the amount of tracks that DiRT 2 had, including new locations in Finland, Kenya, Norway and Michigan. Rally content will account for 60 per cent of the game’s career mode.

Great to have a confirmed date for the ultimate in Rally games, May is more suitable as Shift 2 will be the dominant racing game leading up to that release date for me anyway.

With a lot more proper rally stages it may well be ‘the ultimate in Rally games’.
