Splinter Cell Trilogy Delayed In The US

It has been announced that Splinter Cell Trilogy has been delayed in the US. Originally due for release yesterday, the new date is June 21st. There is no set date for the EU, however Ubisoft are aiming for the first half of this year.

The Trilogy will be made up of HD versions of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. These will also support stereoscopic 3D.

If you simply have to have a bit more Sam Fisher in your life, Splinter Cell 3D releases this Friday on Nintendo’s 3DS.

  1. Played the original and Conviction but never got round to playing all the releases in the middle. May have to pick this collection up at some point, but am no means in a rush to get it

    • I´d say get it just for Chaos Theory (if it is the xbox version), easily the best installment in the entire franchise.

      • What is the difference between the PS2 version & the xbox? I started CT on the Xbox & got stuck. Bought it again when I got my PS3 & completed it, but did notice that the level I got stuck on was different to the PS2 version I finished!

  2. want this bad.

  3. I am looking forward to this a lot

  4. I’m looking forward to playing these. Hope it will be the first half of this year.

  5. I thought this had been the case for a while. It’s been that date on shopto.net for a while anyway. Can’t wait for it to come out though.

  6. Already have all of them (except for Conviction since it never came to PS3) but could get them again

  7. This will have to do whilst waiting for the MGS HD remakes. I want them more than MGS5!

Never played Splinter Cell but I’m pretty sure this will soon become a favourite. My mate had one of them and really enjoyed it, and I remember watching him play on occassion.

  8. even though I have them all for PS2 these are bought!

I love 1 and Pandora Tomorrow was the series peak – what a game!

  9. Looking forward to getting hold of this when it come out. I really enjoyed the first 2 games.
