BioWare are rewarding their fans by giving them one of last year’s best games for free. In order to qualify you need to own Dragon Age II on PC and have connected using Online Pass and your EA account.
The giveaway is to celebrate the great success of Dragon Age II, which has hit the million sales mark much quicker than its predecessor managed. Here’s what they say about the offer on their site:

i was wondering why i couldnt activate cerberus network, i guess its the only way to make money outta the people who get it for free

Yes, there is. The Cerberus Network automatically activates on whichever bioware account your DA2 online pass was activated on, and you get “Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, Cerberus Weapon and Armor, Normandy Crash Site, Cerberus Arc Projector, and Firewalker Pack” all for free.

yea i just found it, you need to activate it on the same screen as where you get your redeem code from or it doesnt show in your stuff

Oh, this also works if you own DA II on consoles as well. You only get ME2 for the PC, though.

You don’t even need to have DA2 on PC, any platform will do! You can only get ME2 on PC out of it though!

ME2 is great though. I can’t speak for Dragon Age, but Mass Effect 2 plus another RPG seems a good deal to me!
