Sony have posted a message on the EU blog which states they still don’t know exactly when the PSN will be back.
I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days.
We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process.
In other news, scientists at the State of Ingtheobvious University have discovered that an anagram of ‘The PSN is completely f*cked” is ‘Unchecked files tempt sly op’.

Anyone else notice that before Sony told us anything, everyone was complaining we had no news? They obviously either can not fix this as easy as we think, or they are taking longer than expected. Not trying to defend Sony too much, but we asked for an ETA. They give us one they can’t meet, which was bound to happen, and now we throw their news in their face asking for something better… :/

What I am impressed by is the amount of people I’ve spoken to who have said how much they’re enjoying the single player campaigns of games they bought ages ago, myself included. No PSN = better value from your purchases it seems!

At first i wasnt bothered when it was coming back up, just happy in the knowledge that it would eventually, but the more comments i read i`m starting to share other peoples frustrations, also finding myself becoming more annoyed by the situation, Sony should just be honest and say it will be back in a month and if it comes up before, people will feel like its more special because its come up earlier than stated….my opinion obviously >:-)

I havent been that bothered by the PSN outage until yesterday when I was chomping at the bit to play an online shooter, and just basically unwind killing random folk. Shame it wont* be up for Brink (*most likley)

When I first read the title of the blog post from a link, I thought “Yes! Finally an ETA!”. Then it turns out to be the same shit they’ve said 10 times over.
Having no news at all would have been less annoying than this.
