The first three movies to be produced by the newly formed Ubisoft Motion Pictures will be based on the mythologies of Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon.
Representatives of the studio will be travelling to to Los Angeles to discuss their plans with U.S. movie makers.
Division head Jean-Julien Baronnet has said,
We want to keep ownership, retain control over the film content, and we’re open to work with studios on the development of our projects, and eventually collaborate on the pre-casting, pre-budget and script.
A script for one of three projects will be ready by the end of the year.
Work has also commenced on 78 episodes of Raving Rabbids, a 3D CGI cartoon, each episode lasting seven minutes.
