The EU Blog has just revealed the Resistance 3 box-art, and it’s gorgeous (and very non-gamey).
Mostly down to British graphic designer Olly Moss, who’s taken the traditional Resistance logo and theme and worked it into something completely unique and distinct.
As the Blog says, it’s not your typical ‘rendered hero’ art.
There’s a demo of the game coming on ‘specially marked’ Blu-ray copies of Battle: Los Angeles, which features the entire boat ride section of the game.
We’ve played Resistance 3 – it’s lovely, find out more here.

Who cares I only see it when I stick the game in the PS3 otherwise I only see the spine! Looks good though.

Looks kinda O.K, could have used some more works into it…anyways i still buy the game.

I would have prefered the 4th pic as an boxart.

I like everything about the design style, like the bold colours and minimalistic approach.
I’m rather disappointed to say that I don’t like the design itself though and the choice of colours seems a bit weird.
I’d definitely pick it up though to take a closer look at the box, very striking.

Don’t care what the box looks like really, but if pushed for an opinion, I’d say that while it may be original compared to other game boxes, it’s hardly original as a concept.

Awesome! I really wasn’t going to buy this, but if this is the cover for the AU release I may just change my mind. I hope more publishers do covers like this.

call me crazy, but it kinda reminded me of the catbus from my neighbor totoro.
