In the midst of E3, Ubisoft announced that the beta for the chronically delayed Ghost Recon: Future Solider would be coming sometime in early 2012.
Yesterday, they came out and narrowed down the launch window on Ghost Recon’s Twitter feed by announcing their intentions to start it sometime this January. The beta is currently only slated for the Xbox 360, although rumours have been circulating that other platforms may get in on the action too.
Still no word on what all the beta will entail but as soon as we know something, we’ll be sure to pass it along.

Hopefully Splinter Cell Conviction owners get into the beta abit earlier. I have had that below-par SPlinter Cell game on my shelf for nearly 10months waiting for that beta to start!

It’s about time!
The co-op gameplay shown at E3 was pretty good.

Before anyone says it…i’m aware the article talks about the beta and I mentioned co-op. Just sayin…the co-op looked good!

Given the strong focus on co-op I think it would be a missed opportunity if they didn’t let us try it out in the beta
