PS3 Exclusive Rainbow Moon Is Looking Sweet

Rainbow Moon was announced in March – it’s an RPG developed by SideQuest promising a core quest of 25 hours and more than 100 hours if the player opts to do all the missions, character development etc.

The first screens have just been released, some of which are below (with the rest available on the official website) – it’s looking lovely, the isometric viewpoint offering up some nicely detailed environments and characters.

It’s a hardcore turn-based game, so it’s not going to appeal to everyone, but it does look the part.

  1. Looks really nice, I like this type of isometric viewpoint, hope there’s a demo released.

  2. I have to say that I knew nothing of this until now but it looks like just the sort of thing I’ve been waiting for.

    Epic time-swallowing RPG? Check.
    Cutesy uncomplicated graphics? Check.
    Turn-based? Check.
    … Snow? Check.

Looking forward to learning more but for now it sounds perfect.

    • Would it have been a no deal if there was no snow! Personally the pine trees are my deal clincher.

      • I confess, It would’ve been touch ‘n’ go.

  3. Do we know if this is Disc or Digital yet? Either way, I’m interested.

    • Discs are also a digital medium, the word you’re looking for is “downloadable”

  4. Ooh, looks right up my street! Yet another to add to the list, this is going to be a tough year.

  5. Looks very sweet. I’m not sure about those character design.. but this certainly is my kind of game!

  6. I almost looks like a cheap Facebook game, but its detail really redeems it. Im very interested, especially as I love games with an Isometric view point.

  7. It looks good but it’s not for me, never been a RPG fan.

  8. Sweet – reminds me of Costume Quest, but better!!

  9. Abrosia day? Don’t they mean ambrosia, if they’re talking about the foods of the gods?

  10. I haven’t even started Grandia… I’d be insane to get this

    • Loved Grandia, if this is anything like that… :D
