Burnout Crash! Video Shows Kinect Gameplay

So, after yesterday’s somewhat downbeat reception to the first screens, here’s the first video of the Burnout game nobody really seems to want. This is clearly being controlled using Kinect, see the little “jump!” icons that appear and the on-screen warning to get back into the sensor’s range about halfway through.

It looks like it’s got some potential, at least. Is anyone looking forward to this?

  1. looks like GTA, as in, crap. How many times does it take, jumping up and down when it says before it gets boring. I was bored watching it

  2. An iphone game you have jump about to play. I think I’m going to shoot myself now and be done with it.

  3. Apart from the clip of ‘Gold! Always believe in your souuul’ its a bit of a let down :(

  4. Well bang goes that single shred of optimism I managed to hold onto after seeing those screens.

If there’s a demo, I’ll probably still give it a shot – otherwise, I’ll pass.

  5. This could be fun as a cheap phone game or a free handheld title..

  6. Absolute tripe. Good old EA, you can rely on them to run a respected franchise into the dirt

  7. It looks like a fun game, but the more I see about this being a Burnout title, the sadder I get :(

  8. A quick way to make everyone love this game a little more… get rid of the Burnout title. If it wasn’t burnout it would be a fun PSN/marketplace etc game to play once in a while. But when you add burnout to the title it screams WTF!?

Get on with the real burnout already, I’m pretty sure it was planned way back and put on hold because EA put Criterion Games on NFS. -_-

  9. Unless theres a demo for this which i really enjoy then i will not be purchasing it. It just isnt Burnout and having that game and the franchise is just going to ruin it.

  10. If this is cheap/free with PS+ then I think it actually has promise, however perhaps the Burnout moniker shouldn’t have been used to avoid angry fans. At the end of the day, the proof is in the pudding……………….although I refuse to play this with Kinect
