Thanks to a not-so-subtle countdown clock, we were fairly confident that Sony Online Entertainment’s hybrid sequel was set to debut at this year’s Fan Faire. We expect more details as the live event continues into Saturday, but for now there is a gameplay trailer available to watch. From what has already been shown, huge sci-fi environments, faction-based gameplay and a vehicular combat look to be the founding pillars of this ambitious foray into the MMOFPS genre.

Ahhh PS, wow seems so long ago since i played the original. Remember it releasing (2002 was it?) and tbh i don’t think my PC was up to it back then lol!
This on the other hand looks pretty nifty, and obviously people who haven’t played it before are going to think of Halo immediately.
