Square Enix has today announced that augmented role-playing FPS Deus Ex: Human Revolution has sold 2 million copies across the globe, just two weeks after its EU launch. An impressive figure considering that the Deus Ex has yet to launch in Japan, and an indicator that game sales may be about to pick up as we head into the industry’s busiest period.
Last month we awarded the game an almost-perfect 9 out of 10, praising Deus Ex for its satisfying, unique gameplay and focused approach to story-telling.

I’m hooked ont Deus-Ex, played for two days straight now, what awesomeness. Totally deserves good sales.

Yeah, don’t know how long it’s been since I played a game this much.
Once I finished my first nice slow paced playthrough, I straight away started a new playthrough, on hard, going for non-lethal and no alarms.
Not going to be able to change much, apart from the odd little bit here or there, story-wise (e.g. I didn’t hand around before the first proper mission the second time, so I managed to get to that room, and stop that thing from happening). Still, I’m excited about just how differently I’ll be able to playthrough various areas.
I’m actually quite amazed at how well I’ve remembered all the different areas. Though it might have something to do with me checking every nook and cranny!
Not sure why, but I just love it!
