PlayStation Network Maintenance has been scheduled to take place this coming Thursday 29th September from 17.00PM until 21.00PM BST.
During this period the PSN will be unavailable from 17.00PM until 19.00PM BST. The usual blurb can be found below.
This will affect the following PlayStation Network Services:
- PlayStation Store
- Account Registration
- Account Management
If you attempt to sign in to the Network during the downtime you will be presented with the site maintenance notification page.
If you are signed in prior to the maintenance, then you should remain signed in and be able to continue with your gaming session (although the above services will be unavailable).
Hopefully this won’t get in the way of the Battlefield 3 beta too much, as it goes live the same day.

5 and 9, but you should only have issues between 5 and 7. Unlike me. Im full of issues.

Whenever I do that I always come home to find I’ve been signed out. Think it must be a setting on my router or something but leaving my playstation signed in but inactive always leads to me getting signed out.

They always say you need to sign in before 4pm but I’ve always been able to sign in during the maintenance. Not once have I been unable to. Wonder why?
