Sega has announced that Yakuza: Of The End will be released in North America and Europe. The game is set to launch exclusively for the PS3 in March 2012 and has been renamed Yakuza: Dead Souls.
The latest entry in the Yakuza series is a huge departure from previous releases. The days of punching in faces and suplexing people onto concrete are a thing of the past. The red right district of Tokyo has been attacked by zombies and the only way to stop them is to use guns. It’s as awesome as it sounds.
Yakuza: Dead Souls features all the DLC from the Japanese version and includes a new Pachislot mini-game. Check out the trailer below to see Dead Souls in action.

Oh yeah, I forgot SEGA were responsible for publishing this.
Bravo, *golf claps*.

I’m grumpy as Hell about this. I mean, did anybody else play the demo for Of The End? It fucking SUCKS. It’s garbage! Toshihiro Nagoshi should stay away from games about gunplay at all costs. Why can’t SEGA give us Valkyria Chronicles 3, Yakuza: Black Panther, or Yakuza: Kenzan?

Demo was ok, but shooting mechanics sucked so much…
