The Last Story Classified In Australia

Japan-only Wii RPG ‘The Last Story’ has received a classification from the Australian ratings board.

The classification board has rated the title ‘M’ because of its depiction of “fantasy violence and mature themes.”

A classification for the Australian market strongly hints at a European release for Mistwalker’s RPG, but there is currently no sign that the game might be released across the Atlantic. The Last Story is one of the games that “Operation Rainfall” is campaigning for to be released in North America. Here’s hoping that the game, unlike Xenoblade Chronicles, will come to American shores.

Could The Last Story end up being the Wii’s swansong?

  1. Isn’t it confirmed for Europe already? If not then I think the fact that its offered as a prize for a video showcase of Xenoblade Chronicles some what confirms it. (Had an email from Nintendo saying send them a video of the best part of XC, first prize is copy of Last Story and Pandora’s Tower, iirc.)
