Win A Copy Of Uncharted 3

Hello, how is everyone today? I hope you’re all okay. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday I spent a sizeable portion of the day struggling with the fact that I didn’t yet have my grubby little hands on a copy of Uncharted 3. I sat there, working at my computer, seething with rage that I wasn’t playing the latest in the Uncharted saga yet. It was threatening to consume my very being. So I nipped out and bought a copy. Problem solved.

But while I was planning my little excursion to buy the latest PlayStation 3 blockbuster, I spared a thought for all those of you who, for whatever reason, don’t yet have the game. So when I finally made it to the shop, I bought two. Now I’m going to give one away to one of you lucky little blighters. Because that’s how we roll here at TSA. Except Kris, he’s a right stingy old beggar *.

Let’s keep it nice and simple though, shall we? Why don’t you tell us about your most treasured possession in the comments below and at 17:00 GMT today, we’ll have a poke around the comments and pick the one we like best. The author of that comment will receive a copy of the game in the post just as soon as we can get their address from them and the postal service can find their house.

Our usual T&Cs apply, as ever, and our decision is final so no grumpy faces if you don’t win, okay? Oh, and have a read of our review, it took Alex about a month. And that’s just the sandy background.

* This is not actually true. Kris has, in the past, sent me cookies in the mail and given me awesome robot socks.

Update: Sorry folks, it took me ages to read through all of the entries! I’ve picked a winner now though, because of the sentiment and also the extra little attention to (peculiar) detail, hannes_truce is the winner of UC3. However, because I bought the games in Sainsbury’s, I also got two £25 PSN vouchers and stories from grimm and adamguest1985 resonated with me and with Uncharted 3 so I’ll send each of them a £25 code in their emails too.

Right, now bugger off and click some ads or something, I’m skint!

  1. My teddy bear is my most prized possession. I wouldn’t know what to do without him. This little has been with me since I was 3. Too many precious memories.

  2. My most treasured posession is in fact my PS3 by far – It’s always there for me when the wife decides to ignore me. Again.

  3. My most treasured possession is hand drawn picture/blueprint for one of Matt Bellamy’s (guitarist from Muse) guitars. It was accidently sent (a long story) to me by an amazing guitar luthier called Hugh Manson, owner of Mansons Guitars. It’s still quite hard to believe it happened, but owning something that only me and a few other people in the world have seen feels quite like a treasure!

    Good luck to everyone else!

  4. Ok, i’ll put my hands up. My most treasured possession is Snoopy, one that i got for a Christening present 30+ years ago. When I moved out and in with my then girlfriend now wife, she wasnt that impressed, but i made her keep it, and takes pride of place in our spare bedroom next to my pc. First thing to be saved in a fire!

  5. My power ball. Life is nothing without strong wrists

    • i’m not gonna ask why you need strong wrists. o_O

      • … A requirement for accurate use of six axis controls on the ps3 of course…

      • of course. >_>

  6. Hmm, tough one but ultimately for me possessions come and go throughout your life, all treasured at the time and often in equal measure, if however I lost my sense of wonder and desire to question things, well that would be a total loss, so yeah, that.

    p.s. or my totally rad 24″ 2002 Paiste Ride cymbal, she’s a beaut! ;)

    • Which series?
I think once I get my new set of 13.5″ zildjian k custom hybrid hats they’ll be so treasured I’ll never let them leave my sight. Any day now…

  7. My most prized possession is my Barburrito loyaly card. Sure theres the Playstation, the TV, the laptop, the smartphone… but the loyalty card gets you a free Burrito for every 9 Burritos you buy. This is the stuff dreams are made of… Plus, flashing your card in front of the friendly staff on your birthday scores you a free Burrito. It’s my birthday tomorrow. I know where I am going for lunch!

Anyone who hasn’t ever had a Burrito from this place is missing out. Shame they only have a few branches.

Nobody comes between me and my burritos!

    • Awesome, lol. And happy birthday (and Burrito) for tomorrow!

  8. My 16 month son and my girlfriend who have made my life complete in more ways than I thought…

Obviously not a possession in the terms of “I paid money for this” so in that respect I would have to say my iPod, it’s been with me for 5 or 6 years and provides me with music for all my needs and I can carry it anywhere and suits any mood with its vast genres inside its black and silver casing

  9. My Gold LEGO membership badge from when I was 7, I’m 31 now

  10. Surprised no one has claimed to own TSA yet, and say that this is their most prized possession. :)

Anyway, mine is probably my baby blanket that I used to take everywhere with me and has more sentimental value than anything else I own, taking me back to my childhood. If there was a fire in my house, I’d save my PS3, my phone, my wallet, my car keys if I could find them – all for money reasons – and my baby blanket.
