Call of Duty, FIFA And BioShock Head Up Third Party Vita List

Sony, it seems, are deadly serious about Vita, courting the best third party developers and the biggest publishers in the industry.

The list, which accompanies the first party one, is immense, with some really big names in there.  This isn’t a launch list per se, rather a ‘line-up’, but it’s certainly rather impressive.

Look out for F1, FIFA, Ninja Gaiden, BioShock, Mortal Kombat and a little shooter called Call of Duty…

Sure, we knew about most of them, but – wow – next year’s going to be expensive.

  1. Please don’t let COD be by Treyarch, if it has online, the PSV will see soo much as it’ll be the only portable with proper online COD.

    • I’m guessing it will be Treyarch – they are Activision’s ‘porting’ team, doing the Wii and last-gen versions of even the Infinity Ward games.

    • tut! If its a story driven CoD I’ll take Treyarch over Infinity Ward any day of the week

    • *sell

Well then COD will fail on PSV if its by Treyarch.

    • personally i preferred blops online to mw2 or mw3, that seems like its only me though…

and anyway, blops didn’t fail and the next cod by treyarch won’t. yes it’ll get more criticism then IW’s work but people will still buy it

      • Treyarch games are bug ridden on PS3, I will never forgive Treyarch for the co op campaign/campaign glitch where I wouldn’t get my Veteran trophy on WaW, the hit detection and underpowered guns in Blops MP, poor audio, overall horrible UI and dull. The only thing they got right was emblem/playercard creator and gun customisation.

      • I thoroughly enjoy playing blops online. Was doing just so earlier today. Barrel of lols, and the wager matches are some of the best fun you can have online without chatroulette…

      • god bless chat roulette haha

    • I don;t think it will be either Infiard or Treyarch as they will be concentrating on the big console incarnation. It’ll be pawned of to a smaller studio like Beach head etc.

  2. Thanks a lot Sony, Lloyds TSB are going to love me for this….

  3. Vita zombhez FTW! etc…

  4. Hang on they havent even started Bioshock Vita, it’s pretty much vapourware atm, bet that wont be out before 2013

  5. Monster.

    Monster Hunter? :D

    Oh.. its the line-up >.>

  6. “Touch My Katamari”

    I’d rather not.

  7. Vita looks to have some really strong games there! perticualy looking forward to Bioshock,F1,Silent Hill and Call Of Duty!

    • I may get the F1 game but it will have to be a lot better than the psp one.

  8. Seriously impressive list there. I’m intrigued to see how Bioshock and AC turn out and, even though I’m not a CoD fan, I really want that to be great ‘cos that could shift some systems. Proper console-like online gameplay on the go? Yes please

  9. Wow that an I,pressive list of games. To be able to play proper FIFA and COD in the car will be great. Hope these are out relatively soon after launch, although 2 COD’s next Xmas will be killer.

  10. Assassins Creed, COD and F1 2011. Just those 3 titles make me want it, but I could never justify the price.

    • Not when you’ve seen F1, then you won’t want it.
