Just a heads-up for all those with a PS3; there is maintenance planned for this Thursday:
“PSN maintenance has been scheduled to take place on Thursday 15th December from 16.00PM until 02.00AM GMT on Friday 16th December.
Users who attempt to Sign in during the maintenance window may receive a maintenenace message.
Users who are already signed into the PlayStation Network should not be affected.”
So, sign-in beforehand if you wish to get any online gaming done that night.

Least I get Friday off college, just hope I can get home before maintenance on Thurs.

I don’t really mind about the maintenance, they are probably making sure that nothing breaks under load over Christmas! Wouldn’t want that now would we?
Skyrim will still be played, I just won’t be able to sync my trophy! (singular, they are coming a lot slower now!)
Also, I find that impromptu gifts for the significant others, flowers out of the blue etc, always get met with suspicion so it is best not to! ;)
Thats my reason and I am sticking to it!

Well any criticism Sony get over maintenance is well deserved. I develop software for a living, and I continually wonder how you could botch a system this size so badly that it needs to go offline to be serviced. And every week?

Oh well, its not going to affect my Skyrimming so not too bothered. Bad timing for people playing on MW3, BF3 etc though.
