If this doesn’t sell Vitas, nothing will.
I once asked Brian Provinciano, the guy behind Retro City Rampage, if he had any plans on bringing the 8-bit styled GTA-like game to Vita – but back then it was all top secret.
Now though, well, it’s all out in the open, and looking fab. In an article over on the PS Blog, the developer confirms a few Vita-specifics – there are two screen modes, and touchscreen menus.
Best of all is Continuous Play – start a game on PS3, save, and continue on Vita.
No release date yet, though, sadly. “It’ll be out as soon as possible,” says Provinciano. “I’m fixing the final bugs and working around the clock to get it into your hands as soon as I can.”
Oh, and the first comment on the US Blog? “ps1 games on psvita we want!!!!!!” Sigh.

Not sure I like it, but at least Vita’s getting more games and one that seems fairly unique in style. That can’t be a bad thing.

I can’t wait for this – perfect for some ‘on the go’ gaming. Been a lean month or so for me on Vita games (in terms of new stuff) so I’m looking forward to picking this and Resistance up soon.
