Instead, know that Top Spin has sold well (presumably to that ridiculous price drop for the Wimbledon final) and thatgamecompany’s Journey is still very much up there.

I’m surprised actually. Even though the price is decent, not many gamers like downloading 5GB+ and prefer to have the physical copy. But it does send a message to Sony that games that have decent prices will sell well. So in theory we should see them doing more games at decent prices.(i understand that not all publishers want to sell their game on the store for £20 and would rather charge us the full price).

IF publishers sold there games on PSN for less than retail id gladly download the full thing and store it on a massive hardrvie. Even with PSNs terribly slow download rate when there is high traffic on an item.

I remeber AC3 being £104 on the store and twas for preorder. :O I think it is a case of many publishers not wanting to annoy the retailers and lose one of their most effective means of selling their games. That and i think Sony do charge quite a bit for 3rd party games to be hosted on the store. Not sure if they give first party games a discount on the hosting fees or if they do it for free.

BRILLIANT Trilogy:P I am going to buy it on Blu-ray tho. I still prefer discs. Hopefully a ‘R&C HD Trilogy 2’ will come out with R&C: Gladiator & the PSP R&C game & the PSP Clank game to. I would buy that:P
