Ex-CIA operative, John Huntley, narrates an insider’s tour of the Rook Islands, the lush tropical islands where Far Cry 3 takes place. The trailer depicts the rather strange inhabitants of the island as well as showing off its mysterious history. The handglider makes a welcome return and provides an excellent opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery before getting the drop on the bad guys. Oh, and watch out for that tiger.
After seeing some of what the Rook Islands have to offer, along with the separate co-op campaign for up to four players, it’s great to see that the two military shooters going head to head this Christmas period have some varied competition to provide gamers with a real choice within the FPS genre. Far Cry 3 will be shipping on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 from November 29th through to December 4th, depending where you live.

To be honest, i am actually favouring this over any CoD or MoH (it is MoH this year right?).
A bit of freeform gameplay is always welcomed by me.

Yeah, it’s MOH warefighter this year. I’m also looking forward to this game. It’s a shame it got pushed back from it’s september release date but hay we still got borderlands 2.

Yeah, truth be told, i would have absolutely no use for two open world shooters in the same month, so it being pushed back is actually good for me! :)
