The new PSN Store has launched in the UK, following its New Zealand and Australia launch earlier this morning. We’re currently piling through it and collecting our thoughts, but it’s worth pointing out that currently the ability to add funds to your wallet is somewhat problematic.
“For anyone having trouble adding funds to your wallet on the new Store,” PlayStation tell us, “apologies, this issue will be fixed in the next couple of hours.”
Purchases should work as normal, it’s just the process of adding funds to the wallet that’s currently under construction. Hopefully it’ll be fixed before the main Store Update happens, which should be later this afternoon and include the likes of The Unfinished Swan.
Content is currently live, including a demo for Sports Champions 2, but it’s not able to be downloaded yet – attempts to do so are met with an error message.

It’s kinda obvious to expect that, normally we get things late now we have the new Store early its buggy. At this time I’ve yet to access the new Store, but should be able to in about 1 hourish.

I suspect they are still trying to implenment Paypal into the store and don’t want to risk someone hacking into the store through a hole in the security. As well as to avoid an overload due to people who refused to add funds via their card doing it via paypal and setting the brand new store on fire due to SCEE using paper to reinforce it. :p

Well now that it have launched all across SCEE it’s pretty fast. But I think it’s a bit hard to find the latest stuff.( especially psvita,psp and minis games)

The new store was available for me around 11-12 gmt, but it has now been reverted back to the old store.

Still here and working very well. First launch was bit slow yeah, but navigating around it is easy and fast. The use of triangle as a “home key” works very good. The new menu system works well, the game pages for each game with dlc, theme and video’s added is just how it should be.
Latest games/DLC/demos is on the third page on the front page, is easy enough to use, when you know it’s there. Though they need to something about the latest DLC page, it’s to messy, there should be folder for games or sorted by game name, not DLC name.
The new search is fine, though they should properly add USB keyboard support, to please those who use it :)
Download for me is a bit faster, so that’s a plus. Speaking of download, the downloadlist is still a mess as expected, but they are working on it, though it should properly have been ready for launch, I see lots of people disappointed it hasn’t been improved.

Still no new store for me, at least i can still download the all star battle royale beta so im happy to wait for the new store
