Controversies surrounding Microsoft and EA, new They Might Be Giants albums, and months in which the first day lands on a Monday. These are a few of my favourite things. So, seeing as this last week had all of these, I’m totally fine with being the one to bring you all back to reality in Gazza’s stead, following on from Steven’s coma-inducing round-up of lunacy last week!
Last week saw the final round of the Black Ops 2 League as this little competition came to a close. Having spoiled the A Team’s party, the Grand Slam was up for grabs by Team Spaffy Waffle.

There’s a nice and simple routine to the Meets at the moment, with GT5 on Monday at 7PM, Tomb Raider on both Monday and Wednesday at 8PM, sandwiching Tuesday’s Dirt Showdown meet.
Aside from that, there’s a fairly regular little Bad Company 1 meet on Fridays which usually pops up, and seems nice and popular.
If you don’t see something for you, but do want to gather a gaggle of TSAgents together, all you need is 250 TSA points to be able to create your own meet.
We kick off with a couple of reviews, with Aran taking a look at the PSN and XBLA release of Terraria, giving it a rather positive 8/10. Not something you can say of Ninja Gaiden 3, with Jim giving it a bit of a knock around in his 5/10 review.
I took an early look at the brilliantly adorable Lego Marvel Super Heroes, whilst Blair speculates on the recent leaks and teases for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
In the opinion pieces, Kris gives his reasons for why he’s not so totally stoked for GTA V, before wondering if there might not something behind the joking Football Manager 1888 and expanding this to other games and genres. Peter also weighs in on why online only consoles would be a somewhat unpleasant proposition, should they come to pass.
Last Sunday’s Chronicle featured a rather inventive and literal walkthrough of Blair’s gaming world. WeView’s judgement was passed on BioShock 2, before we moved on to the more recent Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed. Rounding this week out is What We Played as usual, whilst the Podcast took a break over the extra-long weekend.
Is it just me or have the forums been a little quiet this week?
- Fillip2k got his first pay cheque last week, but all he wanted was to look at SpikeyMikey’s bottom… I think that’s what he said, anyway.
- Hanny gives us another example of sexism and discrimination in the gaming industry. This time in Holland. Her rage is entirely justified.
- An-dz picked up on an April Fools’ Day gag.
- Bunimomike always has a way with words, and here he creates a little story with the screenshots he takes. He’s a silly person, is Mike.
- The co-operative movement continues! Notably, blackredyellow was wondering if any Dead Space 3 owners wanted to buddy up for some co-op?

How many can GTA handle in multiplayer? The more the merrier! When it comes out, we’ll have to sort out a meet…good and proper!

I’m not really that into multiplayer but could be interested in a bit of arsing around in gta so i’ll keep me eyes open for that if you need a totally inept player hindering everyone else :)

That and it’s not out for the PC for months, theoretically, so it’s PS3 for me too. Also, I cannot usually stand multiplayer but clowning around in GTA with friends is utterly top-drawer entertainment. :-)

i know that GTA IV could have 16 player free mode/ranked multiplayer so hopefully GTA V will have atleast that! =D

Thanks Mike :) Yeah ill be getting GTA V, I think ill preorder it right now. GTA seems to facilitate uniquely fun sessions of spanking, arsing and buggering, I can’t wait! I’m hesitating in suggesting it, but we could try to sort a GTA4 meet? I think multiplayer is less randomly buggy on Steam than on PS3.
