If you were worried about shelling out over £500 for your PS4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, an extra controller and the PlayStation camera, then don’t worry – it seems as though there’s a bundle involving all of these on the way.
The image above comes from Amazon France, where the bundle is listed at 499.99 Euros, so that could be between £430 and £450 in the UK, which sounds like a great deal.
If they manage to price this the same as the Xbox One – which includes the Kinect camera and a copy of FIFA 14 – then Sony are onto a winner; an extra controller, a camera and Killzone: Shadow Fall are essential for the PS4 in my eyes.
While there’s a slight chance this might not be legitimate, Videogamer were told by Sony’s Fergal Gara about “detailed bundles and combinations that we will put on shelf at retail” so it seems as though this might just be one of many. A FIFA one, perhaps?
It looks really awesome, and I think I’ll definitely be buying one, providing I can switch my pre-order over to it when it appears on the UK marketplaces.

I’ve got a £20 deposit on a PS4 console from Game, but it’s just the console and a controller, nothing else. This bundle has me tempted to try and change should it materialise in the UK. Not sure how easy Game will make that though…

Game should have no problem transferring pre order deposits to bundle deals since they accept at the time we pre ordered months ago that most of those pre orders will be converted into either official bundles or ones they put together themselves. We just have to wait until the bundle goes official in the UK and then call them or drop in to arrange the transfer.
BTW, I used to manage a Game store so I have every faith this is what will happen just the way they did for PS2/3 when they launched.

Yep, this is a good move from Sony (assuming the bundle doesn’t cost £500 over here of course). You are basically getting the camera for free at £450, giving people no real excuse not to own one. The more people who have one, the better the developer support of it will be.

Why don’t you just order one now from Amazon.Fr? I have, no need to register or anything, you can use you UK Amazon account. If you can’t read French just use Google translate.
If Amazon or anyone else brings out a this bundle, just cancel your French order.

Why are so many people saying the camera is important/crucial for PS4. Thought 99% of people accepted motion control was finished. Getting worried that Son¥ have made the PS4 unusable without it or something. Can someone let me know why they’d get one other than for playing motion games or motion “add ons” for normal games. Thanks :-)

Is Skype coming to the PS4?? I’ve not seen it mentioned. I love it on my PSV as I use that to chat to my Brother in Oz. As he’s getting a PS4 too that would make it ideal for me :)

@Gaztee – Don’t think Skype has officially been announced but MS didn’t deny it would eventually be there and it is expected to be there at some point – however not a big deal for me as I have enough devices that all do the job sufficiently.

only thing other than motion games I use it for is video chat with friends and family, its handy for giving the nephews a wave and making them giggle with silly faces on the screen lol :)
