Sony have confirmed to Eurogamer, at Eurogamer Expo no less, that there will be an official PS4 bundle including Killzone: Shadow Fall, the PS4 Camera and an additional DualShock 4 controller. And the price? Around the same as the £429 standard Xbox One package.
This bundle was previously leaked by Amazon France, and will be priced in Europe at €499, with Sony UK manager Fergal Gara telling Eurogamer that there will be a equivalent price in the UK:
“It’ll be similarly benchmarked in euro equivalent. PlayStation 4 is £349 and €399, so it will be the same equivalent.
“It will be no more than a tenner either way [of the Xbox One £429 UK price] depending on what conversation rate we use on the given day.”
That seems like a really great deal – buying all the items separately would cost over £500, so there’s around a £70 saving to be found with this bundle. And with the recently announced Kinect-like integration, the PS4 Camera seems more and more essential by the day.
We’re also assured that Sony will be bringing other bundles, including just the camera and controller, a lone copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall or Watch Dogs to the UK, too. While there’s no direct confirmation from Gara, he does state that “there are other bundles that also represent incredibly good value” to Eurogamer.
It also appears that you’ll be able to upgrade your pre-order to this mega bundle, with Gara stating “our retail partners are contacting their pre-order customers in order, so starting with the first, working up to when they run out of that special bundle, saying, we now have clarity on exactly what PlayStation 4 bundles we have to offer for day one. Would you like option A, B, C or D?”
So, if you’ve pre-ordered, expect an email soon. I for one will definitely be upgrading to this pack.

God knows whats gonna happen with the bundle i ordered from GAME then the Killzone/Driveclub bundle *Which still has not been priced*. I would prefer this Killzone bundle especially with Driveclub being free for us plus members.

I tried to order the standalone console from Game and payed my deposit, then the bloke told me I’d also get Killzone and Driveclub as thats what they were bundling. I told them I didn’t want a bundle but he said thats what I’d get anyway. Luckily it doesn’t mention a ‘bundle’ on the receipt. If they try and stitch me the bundle will change from DriveClub/KillZone to DriveBy/KillGameStaff.

Lol yeah i only agreed to get the bundle as the GAME staff told me when i pre-ordered it tht its was only gonna cost me £370 then everytime i have been in to put money on the GAME gift card they have told me different prices i so far been told £370, £380, £400 and £410.
Hope after this eurogamer expo we will get a definate price its the last time i pre-order any console from GAME they have been shit with letting us know whats going on.

I’m guessing they’ll only end up doing an official Sony bundle which will luckily have a RRP to stop them pulling prices out of their arses. I never use Game but its the only place near where I live which you can ‘apparently’ collect the console on day of launch. I can’t get the console delivered as for some reason the postman and couriers ignore my postcode & deliver my orders to a same address only with the added ‘South’ on the end.
