Nintendo have announced a new Kirby title for 3DS during their Nintendo Direct broadcast, which you can see a trailer of above. There’s still no word on a specific title or release date just yet, though it will be available at some point next year.
It looks quite good, and there’s plenty of 2.5D platforming which really seems to make use of the 3D features, with different platforms akin to Rayman games. Different enemies and parts of the environment will break their side scrolling shackles too, and it’s bound to look good with the slider turned up, showing that Nintendo aren’t completely focusing on the 2DS.
