Despite the title appearing on Sony’s Gamescom list of “launch window” titles for the PS4, EA has been cagey about a specific date for the next-gen versions of the upcoming Need for Speed: Rivals.
Well wonder no more: the company has today confirmed that the racer will be a launch title for both the Xbox One and PS4 in Europe. The PS3, 360, PC and Xbox One versions of the game will launch here on November 22nd, with the PS4 version launching alongside the console on November 29th.
Over in the States, the game will launch of November 19th for PS3, 360 and PC, and November 22nd for both Xbox One and PS4, making it a launch title for the former, but coming a week after the PS4’s street date.
Need for Speed is the latest addition to what is fast becoming a surprisingly strong launch line-up for the next-gen consoles – just yesterday Warner confirmed that the Ultimate Edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us would be a launch title for the PS4.

I haven’t bee impressed with what I’ve seen and heard of this game so far. Was going to give it a miss but as it’s out on PS3 before PS4 launches I’ll wait to see what folk think of it before deciding.
Does anyone know if there’s a PS3 demo? I’m assuming you’ll be able to try it on PS4.
