Guerrilla Games have revealed the first two Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer maps, which will be releasing for completely free of charge. They’re named The Cruiser and The Hangar and are inspired by locations in the single player campaign, as all good maps are.
These will be integrated into Custom Warzones, allowing players to effectively pick and choose their own playlist of game modes on these maps. There’s no word on when exactly they’ll release but Guerrilla have teased what the maps will include.

First there’s The Cruiser, which takes from the decommissioned ISA cruiser we saw in the single player campaign. You can expect it to be dark then, with “tight, claustrophobic corridors” and interconnected compartments. The developers say the key to success is through dominating the choke points.
The second free map, The Hangar, is a much more long-range orientated battlefield which is situated in the bay of one of Helghan’s mining spires. This offers a long line of sight for sniping but also alternative routes which will be required for full control of the map.
These maps sound quite good, though we’ll have to wait until release to see how they work in-game. I’m sure Guerrilla are up to the job, as the maps included in the game so far have worked well.
Also in the works in the first DLC expansion, which comes as part of the Season Pass. They will detail this in the future but it’s sure to involve the already discussed co-operative component.

it’s really cheap on ebay at the moment as people who don’t like FPS are selling copies that came in their bundles – I got my copy for £20

I mentioned this earlier too, as I also got a sealed copy for £20!

I’ve read this post at least 6 times over and I genuinely cannot figure out what on earth you’re trying to say!?
I’m sick of torrent any place fools?
Also, what about party chat?
I’m really confused!

Lol English is not my first language, meant to say, mics on multiplayer or party chat enable since you can’t do that in KZ. And the turret (I think that’s what they called) people just stick them anywhere & it’s annoying.

Taylor made, you can get party chat either through the PSN, or directly through Killzone itself. Guerilla games put that in a couple of updates ago. Just go to multiplayer menu then click the options and adjust the audio settings to allow chat. Hope that helps.

Ah really, didn’t know it was now available. Thanks man :)

Dude there is no mic option in KZ options audio

Great news. I’ve neglected KZSF multiplayer since getting BF4. Not sure why, as in many ways I think Killzone multiplayer is more enjoyable.
£20 is a bargain if you got it for that, its worth that for the multiplayer alone.

This is what has happened to me. I found getting into killzone this time round very hard, even though I loved KZ2 and played KZ3 for a bit.

Yes!! I will be returning to Killzone soon. Does anyone know the number of maps that are be released for the the first DLC?
