As touched on before, Basement Crawl shares a lot in common with the original Bomberman but with a stronger emphasis on multiplayer.

Up to eight players can fight it out online, weaving in and out of objects at they attempt to detonate their opponents.

“Basement Crawl finally gives PlayStation 4 owners a reason to invite their friends over to show off their systems”, says Bloober CEO, Piotr Babieno, “for any PS4 owner out there who is still looking for a really fun, truly unique multiplayer game for their new system, Basement Crawl is it.”

You heard it here guys. Time to strike Watch Dogs and inFamous off those “to-buy” lists.

  1. A Bomberman clone?

You can’t top the fun of Bomberman local multiplayer.

    I’ll buy it.

  2. Show off my PS4 with that? Really? I doubt I’d download this game if it were on the PS+ free instant games list.

  3. I didn’t buy my PS4 to play this type of game.

  4. It’ll be a lot of fun if they manage to capture the Bomberman feel. Well priced too.

  5. I didn’t buy my ps4 to play this, Resogun nor Don’t Starve but alongside Shadow Fall, NBA 2k etc they’ll do me just fine. Might wait for some reviews on this first though.

  6. I’m sure it will be frantic multiplayer mayhem but it seems far removed from that first creepy teaser trailer. (At least i think this is the same game – the one with the evil-looking clown doll? It’s difficult to tell looking at that gameplay)

    • Yeah, I thought it would be a creepy game and the Name made me believe it would be similar to Binding of Isaac with a more cartoony art style.
Does this actually Feature local multiplayer? I skipped the first ten seconds of the Trailer and it only mentioned online multiplayer…

I Burst out laughing at that comment. Bloober’s CEO must be shadow lighting as a comedian!

  8. Looks like a fun local multiplayer.
