I’ve really enjoyed watching this week’s Winter Olympic events, and it’s great to see Team GB having their best medal haul since 1936! In terms of gaming, I’ve also had a great time going back to Modern Warfare 2 with some TSAgents, which we’ll hopefully do again soon.
Anyway, enough rambling, let’s kick-start this week’s Community Round-Up!

Similar to last week, I’ll only briefly remind you of the Plus Point Championship and the Don’t Starve Caption Contest, for which you have until 6pm tomorrow to enter.
Looking at the Meets, Kamokazi-UK is looking for people to help him out with some trophies for Tomb Raider on the PS4, while Vandix hosts the usual Warframe PS4 Meet. There’ll doubtless be the usual GT6 meet on Monday and maybe even a session or two of Killzone: Shadow Fall during the week.
Feel free to hop into the meets forum and add your own Meet to the list, providing you have more than 250 TSA Points.
We had two 9/10 Reviews this week, the first was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which Blair described as being “full of charm”, while Aran describes Ys: Memories of Celceta as “one of the strongest Vita titles” since its launch. The last, and by no means bad, review was from Peter, who gave a 7/10 to Strider.
Stefan appeared with just one Preview this week, which was for Bound By Flame, an action RPG that looks like one to keep an eye on. He also showed up for a Mobile Watch of the game Threes! and a look back at the year since the PS4 was announced, so I guess we’ll let him off.
Indie Focus had another bumper week; Gamoc looked at the isometric Project Zomboid, while Blair played 10 Second Ninja. The original Dragon Age then featured in PlayBack from Jim, while Aran gave his take on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Looking at the Community articles, Puppeteer was well received in it’s WeView Verdict, meanwhile the hilarious Stanley Parable is the new game for you to vote on. Meanwhile, the Hot Topics this week included bugs in Batman, as well as the usual FPS vs 1080p discussion in the Chronicle.
Peter was missing from the Podcast this week, but luckily another Peter, also known as xeroxeroxero, joined the gang for the shenanigans in Episode 130, while What We Played #144 featured Tomb Raider, Freedom Cry and Threes! from Greg.

Time to head on into the Forums, now going the full width of the site, to see what’s been talked about this week:
- The Screenshots thread gets brought back to life thanks to Space Engineers, Ghost Recon and some Vita comparison shots.
- McPhatty’s Winter Olympics thread has seen discussion from this week’s events.
- There’s also been quite a few TSA Meet discussions, perhaps it’s best if I just let you take a look through to see if there’s anything you fancy, or maybe create your own thread to organise your own thing.
I haven’t got anything planned for this weekend, so might try to make use of this weekend’s Double XP event in Ghosts (exciting, I know!). Let me know if you’ve got anything better on in the comments and I’ll see you next time!

We should definitely do some more MW2 gazza, it was great to play it without coming across lots of hackers!
Lyts1985
Yeah, hopefully I’ll be able to make it next time :-)

Yep, we’ll make sure it’s a time when you can :)

Just to echo;
“Time to head on into the Forums, now going the full width of the site”
It’s closer to 2/3 width which to be fair is a 1000% improvement, just needs some front page airtime now with latest comments and trophy lists, although I do fear that Twitter may have caused serious injury to it’s popularity, not sure if it’ll come out of the coma.
