Following yesterday’s suprise price cut of the Xbox One, Gamestop have slashed the price even further to a staggering £369.97.
That is £60 off the launch price of the console and you get a copy of Titanfall and a month’s worth of Xbox Live to boot.

The price takes the console in line with PlayStation 4 Killzone Shadow Fall pack which Gamestop are also selling for £369.97, but at the moment they have no stock.
After a number of mishaps and problems, Microsoft are now in a position to challenge the PlayStation 4’s dominance. Will they succeed? Only time will tell.
UPDATE: PropelGamer.co.uk is has the pack for £365. Any other offers?

That’s more like it.

If i had the money, possibly…but i don’t have enough HDMI sockets on my home cinema system to use the 5.1’s and more importantly no room under my TV for the behemoth

3rd positive Xbox One story. Now leave me alone you bitches :)

Only until the next 900p debacle ;)

Forza 5 has sold a million and has a free track dlc to celebrate. Get typing it up!

I think the X1 is going to get a big sales boost if this continues. Be getting mine soon.

It’ll be interesting to see how much hinged on the price as people were quick to slag off Microsoft’s “special” policies during last Summer when they were furiously working out how to rescind on a good handful of them and cast things in a positive light.
I’m happy for both of them to duke it out as it means two massive console companies are vying for my attention with promises of great games and a ride in their car. That’s what happens right? :-)
Starman
I think a fair amount of PS4 sales were due to the lower price so it’ll be interesting how it goes with them near enough the same now. But of course there’s some that hate MS and wouldn’t buy one anyway.
bunimomike
Aye, fella. Do we see a 2% swing or a 20% swing. Was it a major deterrent or a minor hindrance. I’m sure the price will help Microsoft close the gap a little in two of the three main territories. Sadly, in Japan, they’re close to still-born each and every time.

No thanks… I already had a Betamax in the household back in the 80s.

That is seriously good for the Xbox, this cut along with the new updates which seem to be fixing the system better than Sony are at present could mean that MS are back in the war after a slow start. I would consider this at that price.

It’d be fair to compare if PS4 stock wasn’t so limited, MS might just hoover up quite a few sales from people sitting on the fence with a £370 burning a hole in their pocket who would normally have gone for the Ps4. Then id be amazed if MS didn’t already plan on that.

My god that post is full of mistakes, SwiftKey is terrible!

Well done tuffclub another good ms story written by you. Now can you write up about the two free DLC for forza 5. The honda legends car pack that came out a few weeks ago and free track that came out last week.

Although its a big part of ‘which console to buy’ its not all down to price, MS pee-ed off a lot of gamers before launch. Some might go back but I bet there’s a lot who won’t. I cannot see X1 catching let alone overtaking PS4.
a inferior race
Their anti ownership policies have put me off but when halo 5 comes out things might change.

Are these price cuts permanent or temporary though? I read an article on DigitalSpy (I know… Sorry!) that said the bundle was £399 “while stocks last”…
Does that mean it’ll return to its original price point once the Titanfall bundles are sold out?
I agree with the others – MS caused so much damage to their rep with their original announcements, I know a lot who are no longer interested in the XO regardless of price… Their “always online” and no trading policies will get implemented sooner or later, we know that much and that it can be implemented by way of a FW update, I simply don’t trust them!
Besides, would you buy a brand new Ford Focus Zetec when you can get a brand new Vauxhall Astra VXR for the same price (or even less)? ;-)
SLUMMO316
Because you wouldn’t have to drive a shitty vauxhall
Lyts1985
That’s a whole other debate, aside from the point I was making about power and the associated prices. I prefer Vauxhall over Ford though… Better build quality, easier to maintain and work on yourself, better more knowledgable staff if you do ever need to visit the dealer…
You can use any makes\models in that analogy as your little heart desires :-)
BMW 318 vs Audi RS4
Toyota Corolla vs Honda Civic Type R
Makes no odds ;-)

Easier to repair when it Understeers at the first corner and ends up in a ditch lol. For the record I actually like astras I was just messing. I was going to have GTC astra diesel as my next car but for personal reasons I won’t be getting a new car anymore
Lyts1985
Haha fair fella :-)
Lol, funnily enough my first Astra SRi under steered and ended up straight through a hedge and written off :-D we’ve just bought a new Astra Elite CDTi, the 165bhp variant – lovely car but I wanted the GTC… Mrs said no as it didn’t have enough doors :-( boooo!
SLUMMO316
That’s what I was looking at GTC 2.0 165 diesel. Lovely looking car and great value for money. Vauxhalls used to always slightly dodgy handling as you can testify from your old Sri. Newer ones are much better though
Tuffcub
I think its the free copy of Titanfall “while stocks last” – the price cut is permanant.
Lyts1985
Really? I wondered that too, but then it’s a digital download code… Can they really be stock limited?
Time will tell I guess
Lyts1985
“Fair *enough”
Doh!
