This Store Update is notable in that it’s probably the first update since the launch of the PS4 that we’re seeing a good amount of PS4 content, including Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, which becomes free for PlayStation Plus subscribers from today, or will set you back £12.79 if you’re not a fan of paying for services.
You’ll also find another PS3 makeover, though one which hasn’t been highlighted as much, in the form of Awesomenauts Assemble, the platforming MOBA game for £8.49, or £6.79 with PS+. There’s also the Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC, and that’s available on PS3 too, with both versions priced at £11.99.
If you’d rather not play for multiplayer maps, and you’ve got Killzone Shadow Fall, then you’ll be quite happy, as two new maps are arriving for the PS4 title today without costing you a penny. To celebrate, non-owners and those without PS+ will be able to download and play the multiplayer portion of the game for free this week.
On the PS3 side of things, Master Reboot finally makes its way to the system for £11.99 after being delayed from late last year, and Rambo shows up in an odd, quietly released on-rails first person shooter game at £29.99. You’ll also be able to download Tomb Raider and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons as part of your PS+ subscription from today.
It seems like quite a quiet week for PS Vita, but Smart As and Pixeljunk Monsters: Ultimate HD are both free for this month’s PS+ update.
Oh, and there’s quite a lot of Laser Cat avatars too, obviously.
That’s it for Wednesday’s content, but from Friday you’ll be able to download South Park: The Stick of Truth on PS3 for £49.99, though not if you’re in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Israel, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Ukraine or UAE, and there’s also Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for £34.99.

Seeming I traded KZ in pretty much as soon as I got it I thought I’d give the multiplayer another go seeming its free for the week… that’s until I discovered I’d have to download about 35gb just to play the multiplayer for one week.

Tomb raider is taking it’s time to adjust in to the correct PS+ price of 0.00, but luckily I’m none too interested in playing it straight away. Snagged PixelJunk Monsters and I like it a lot. Might give Smart As a go sometime. Aside from the plus update, there’s nothing for me here. Nice to see Killzone get some love though.

I’m already plugging away at Dead Nation. Its hard to notice any differences from the ps3 version in my opinion, but still a great game. Especially in coop.

Well, i’ve checked my PS4 settings are correct and i’ve set everything up on the store today, just remains to see whether my PS4 will auto download anything in standby or wait for me to power it on when i get home.

There’s a ‘download to PS4’ button on the store once you’ve purchased items. Once pushed it tells you if it’s managed to connect and start downloading to the PS4 – if that’s what you mean???

apart from better fog and bigger explosions dead nation looks and plays exactly the same..think i quoted the other day “all that power under the hood and all they can offer is a jazzed up dead nation”

as for brothers well to be fair its quite simply charming!
excellent gameplay and contols(can get a little fudgy)but worth the download.
still yet to play pixel junk!

Just a heads up regarding Smart As … It needs to be downloaded directly on the Vita, if you download it on PS3 you only get the trial and even then it throws up an error message when attempting to transfer it (although it waits until the very end to tell you).
