Ubisoft Shines The Spotlight On The Child Of Light Deluxe Edition

Ubisoft has just announced that Child Of Light will be getting a boxed Deluxe edition for PS4, PS3 and PC, with it being exclusive to the UK and EMEA regions. This new edition has some bonus collectible items, as well as bonus content in the game. These include the following:

  • The official Deluxe Box
  • Digital version of the game
  • The exclusive lightening Igniculus key ring
  • A 24 page artbook with unrevealed artworks
  • An exclusive A2 Poster designed by Yoshitaka Amano
  • The Golem Pack: free the golem during an additional quest and make him join your party as an additional character.
  • The Dark Aurora Customization Pack: an exclusive Dark Skin for Aurora and a pack of runes to improve your skills.

For the PS3 and PS4 the game will be Cross-Buy, and while the digital price is £11.99 the cost of the Deluxe Edition hasn’t yet been published, despite the game being available to pre-order through Ubisoft’s site. I’m a bit of a sucker for a good collector’s edition so I may have to go and pre-order this as soon as possible.

Update:

A trailer showing the co-op function for Child Of Light as also been released, where one player controls Aurora while the other can control Igniculus, the ball of light, to navigate the world.

  1. I want a digital copy with the cut parts of the game. Is a full game bought digitally asking too much, Ubisoft?
