And then, towards the end of the trailer, there’s an impressive sense of scale as the camera pans down across a huge crowd. This is the new Assassin’s Creed for PS4 and Xbox One as well as PC. This is Unity.
After a few leaks, Ubisoft released this trailer today, which confirms that the game will release towards the end of the year. As it’s effectively next-gen only, it should be quite interesting. That also seems to confirm that there will be a separate entry for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Not Assassin’s Creed V then, but perhaps a new direction for the series to take.

Are you sure it wont be five, wasnt four originally unvield as black flag as i remember thinking ‘it’ll just be dlc’ but i may be thinking of just when it was leaked.
Can ubisoft keep anything secret? So i imagine the other gen machines will be set in russia as that was also leaked.

If you look at the crowd scene, play close attention the wooden platform the guillotine (whack it up to 1080p HD and full screen). The crowd are standing IN the platform.

The franchise has yet to deliver an actual bad game. ACIII was the worst in my opinion, and it was more because of the fact it was a dissappointment. It was still way better than most games out there.

im on bilbo’s side here, AC1 was original, and a great game, AC2 was improved more of what we loved, AC3, awful, AC4, awful (Though i appreciate im one of the only ones with this opinion).
This looks like its getting back on the right tracks though, actually kind of want to play it.

Because each gen’s game should be better optimised rather than what we’ve had so far where they’ve been making it for 6 very different systems. Just my opinion.
