Watch Dogs Most Popular PS4 Game In May’s PS Store Charts, Minecraft Still Dominates PS3

Sony has released the latest chart for the PlayStation Store, and Watch Dogs is the most downloaded PS4 title for the month of May. No doubt that can be attributed to the hype that surrounded the game since its announcement and people wanting to get their hands on it as soon as they could. This knocked Trials Fusion off the top spot and into second. Meanwhile InJustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition saw a resurgence after it received a promotional price cut, making it just £12.79.

Transistor managed to debut at six and Wolfenstein: The New Order came in at nine. On PS3 Minecraft continues to smack down all newcomers, while Aveline clambers to number one on Vita in Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.

  1. Watchdogs is most popular on ps4 because there is nothing else for it!

  2. Played some Watch Dogs last night, wasn’t too impressed. There’s aggressive level of detail pop in (particularly on cars), blurry textures from the lack of filtering, character models and animation is worse than GTA V… Controls were confusing, but I guess that’ll improve with time. The protagonist isn’t doing it for me, for one he looks like a rapist.

I’ll keep playing and hopefully it’ll grow on me, but the first impressions aren’t too good.

  3. £13 for injustice?
    I definitely missed that, it’s £55 again now :-(

  4. I’d love to know what percentage of sales the PSN store against boxed-copies..
