Dragon Age: Inquisition Delayed, Moves To November 21st

Earlier Battlefield: Hardline was moved back until 2015 and now another EA title, Dragon Age: Inquistion has suffered a delay. It hasn’t been pushed back to 2015, but will now release on November 21st. The game was originally slated for a October 10th release, where it would have faced a showdown against Alien: Isolation, Driveclub, and Shadow Of Mordor. No doubt releasing a while later will give Dragon Age: Inquisition some breathing space.

Bioware’s Mark Darrah explained that delay was needed to make sure Inquisition got the right level of polish, and would satisfy those who pick the game up. This polish will apply to the environments, as well as making the world more engaging and having player choices make more of an impact in the game.  From what I’ve seen of the latest Dragon Age I’m quite excited as it is a good series anyway, in my opinion.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be releasing on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

  1. I do like delays but this one upsets me a little. This is one of the only announced games I’m actually interested in getting on day 1. Thankfully there’s plenty of other choice around that time to keep me occupied.

    • I’m with you on that one. But as long as it means a better game, I guess it’ll be fine. At least it helps spread the releases out a little bit more.

  2. How much polish can be done in a month?

  3. Dragon age origins is one of my favourite games ever. 2 was pretty cack. Willing to give this a chance but can’t see it reaching the story telling highs of the first

  4. So gutted, had a week booked off work to play this, hope this isn’t a portent that the game is in trouble….fingers and everything else crossed.
