SHAREFactory Update Contains The Last Of Us Theme & Screenshot Importing

Sony has announced that SHAREfactory will be getting an update tomorrow that will add a new theme, this time in the form of Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us. No doubt SOny are expecting lots of videos to be recorded for the Remastered edition of the game, so this update adds a nice touch to create a suitable look for that footage. There will probably be a lot of screenshots taken, and as part of the update you’ll be able to import screenshots to use them in SHAREfactory.

Not only are regular screenshots supported but those that are captured using game Photo Modes, like inFamous: Second Son, will also be importable to the video editing app. The update will also include new filters, stickers, and some improvements to the user interface. The patch will go live tomorrow, though an exact time wasn’t given.

  1. Having the option to import screens is a nice addition. Haven’t been using SF much at all but no doubt will in the near future.

  2. Cool, I haven’t had much time to use it so i thought it already had the ability to import screens.

  3. Also added is the ability for videos to be exported to the Gallery for anyone to access, which also enables videos captured on sub-account users can up uploaded by other users, getting around those sharing restrictions.
