MGS5 Teaser Shows Quiet Ahead Of TGS Presentation

This morning fans were given a brief sneak peak of Konami’s upcoming TGS presentation for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The video was broadcast over Twitch via Kojima Station after which the series creator announced the newly-unveiled Metal Gear Solid Collection 2014.

The clip weighs in just short of a minute and is centred around one of the game’s lead characters, Quiet. We still know little about her apart from her ability to turn invisible, something which is bound to come in handy during covert operations.

Despite Quiet’s sex appeal being immediately apparent, Kojima has said that she’s not just eye candy for male gamers. In fact, there have been a number of fan theories doing the rounds, some of which suggest that Quiet is actually transgender.

It may not be the full-blown teaser some fans were expecting yet we’re sure to see more of The Phantom Pain as we edge closer towards the Tokyo Game Show later this month.

  1. Some of the theories about this game are mad but the transgender Quiet one actually makes decent sense if you read about it. There’s a guy on YouTube called Yongyea who goes into theories and possibilities in some detail.
I won’t say anything about it here for potential spoilers but it’s worth looking at if you’re a fan of the franchise.

    • Transgender or not, nice boobs : )

      • She’s absolutely stunning. I’d cut my legs off at the knees and hobble through a field of salt just to have her fart in my ear.

Take a look at this. Her smile makes me melt.

      • Oh konichiwaa! The actress is really cute, don’t know why they had to slut her up in-game.

      • She is amazing, thanks for the link dude!

  2. I could write pages about this, women and men’s depiction in video games and comics, but to end it I will just say: I am a 24 year old male and I like Quiet :)
