Halofest Announced, Includes Halo: Nightfall And Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer

Microsoft has released a trailer for the Ridley Scott produced Halo Nightfall TV show which will be included as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.


The show will give “insight into the origin and backstory of legendary manhunter Agent Locke, a pivotal new character in the Halo universe who will play a key role in Halo 5: Guardians.”

If you are not purchasing the revamped Halo collection you will also be able to watch the first episode of the series on Twitch as it will be broadcast as part of Halofest.

On Nov. 11, the next step in the Halo journey begins with the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo: Nightfall. In the days prior, Microsoft and 343 Industries invite fans to join the celebration as they broadcast special sneak peeks, interviews and exclusive gameplay to the world on Xbox Live, Xbox.com and Twitch – including the first look at the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta and the world premiere of the first episode of Halo: Nightfall.

  1. Looks well produced, look forward to watching. Not sure whether I should play the Halo games first though, having never played 1,2 or 4, and only a single level of 3 in splitscreen. Does anybody know if there is a time limit to the episodes in terms of availability?
