Microsoft has announced the next batch of games that will be freely available to Gold LIVE members in January, and the offers are actually pretty decent. To kick things off is D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die which comes from the mind of Hidetaka Suehiro, aka Swery, who is known for the bizarre Twin Peaks inspired Deadly Premonition. D4 is an episodic game and will be available throughout all of January on Xbox One.
The Xbox 360 appears to have the stronger hand this time round though with the fantastic Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings arriving on the service, as well as MX vs ATV Alive. MX will be available  during the first half of January, while Witcher 2 becomes available during the second half of January. That would have been great timing had Witcher 3 not been delayed from its February date and instead pushed back until May 2015. Still Witcher 2 is a big enough game that it may take you until that long to see everything in it.
