Caffeine And Ether One Coming To Consoles

More indie news from GDC, we may have lost Gone Home but we are getting sci-fi horror game Caffeine, and first-person exploration game Ether One.

Caffeine will be published via the [email protected] program and will also be coming to PlayStation 4. The game is set in the future where everyone is addicted to coffee, hence the name, and you play as boy with no memory trapped on a seemingly empty space station which mines caffeine.

Meanwhile, Ether One will only be coming to PlayStation 4, as announced seven months ago, and now it has been revealed  that it will be available as a boxed product as well as a digital download.

The game deals with “the fragility of the human mind” and has two distinct paths of play. The core story can be played at your own pace and slowly unfolds, whereas the more challenging path in which you can “complete complex puzzles to restore life changing events of the patients history in order to help the validation of their life.”

  1. The Caffeine trailer was possibly the most useless games trailer I’ve ever seen. Watch it and see what you think. That was absolutely awful!

    • They seem to have gone with a decaffeinated trailer.
On occasion i have bought a jar of decaff by mistake – never on purpose.
