Magicka 2 Lets You Play With Ice, Fire And More On May 26th

2015’s already been an absolute peach for fans of four player co-op games, and that trend is set to continue, as Magicka 2’s release has just been pegged for release on May 26th for both PS4 and PC in a typically irreverent, Game of Thrones themed trailer. Of course, given the PS Store updates on Wednesdays in the EU, that’ll be the 27th for many of you.

They’ve also priced the game at $14.99 in the US and £10.99/€14.99 in the EU, we’ve been able to confirm, with pre-orders live now on PC and set to go live soon on PSN. Those who do pre-order will be able to briefly get their hands on the game a little early, with an interesting sneak peek preview planned for both PC and PS4 on May 5th (May 6th for EU PSN) that gives access to you and three friends.

I believe this kind of fleeting preview might actually be a first for PlayStation gamers, and it’s quite unusual in general, truth be told, but either way it will be a great chance to see what the game is like (crazy), and try out the game altering Artifacts system. For more on the game in general, you can read, listen and see more about it in our recent preview from PDXCon.
