   The Batman Arkham collection seems like a great bargain. Only played the first one. What’s origins like, any use?

     Made by a different team, not considered part of the canon. It’s meant to be a reasonable imitation, but not as good as the core series.

     I preferred Origins over City but I don’t think many would agree. I thought the story was much better in Origins. Asylum is still my favourite overall.

       Yeah I am in two minds about picking it up, on the one hand its cheap and three games and on the other the Arkham Collection could be ripe for a remaster. After all Sony did state there are much more remasters coming soon.

   Same crap different week, hardly bargain prices are they. Surely they’d sell more at lower prices than the other way round? I don’t understand their sales logic.

     That would depend entirely on which games you would be referring to – The PS4 deals seem reasonable to me (haven’t checked others).

       Assassins creed unity, the crew and the order, all if which even in a sale can bought cheaper on disc. The evil within isnt a bad price I suppose but that’s about it!

       Ah ok. I deliberately didn’t look at anything I can get on disc, as, well I can get them on disc! :)

       Download only stuff seems reasonable though.

       But actually, just having a quick scan through the other stuff has seen some decent pricing too (SRIV, BF4, Payday 2, Tomb Raider etc). Although I note that most of those are ‘remasters’.

       … & don’t forget that Duck Dynasty Price! Has to be worth a punt at that no? :D

     Also play with the lights turned off and where possible, surround sound.

     And have a large stack of clean pants on standbye.

   Game Of Thrones is a steal. Will be getting that. Lords Of The Fallen is a game I am tempted to play but seeing now I have Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2 still wrapped thanks to Rocket League I will hold off.

   Anyone played Danganropa or YS? Thoughts?

     Yeah Ys is a great little action RPG, I very much enjoyed it. Although for me, one of the collectables glitched for me so I ended up with all but one trophy :(

     I played danganronpa and i liked it very much, but it defibitely isnt for everyone. if you like the interactive novel style games (like virtues last reward), then give it a shot!

   Why do they never put Battlefield 4 Premium on sale, only the base game and complete Premium Edition? I have the base game and would love to give EA some more money but I refuse to buy the whole game again for £23 just to get the DLC.

   They’ve done this a few times, accommodating people that want just the base game, and people that want everything, but not people who have the base game and want a decent price on all the DLC. Pet peev, and rant over.

     I should add for additional justification for my moaning, that I already have premium for PC, and have always been slightly annoyed that they’ll let me link Battlelog, but not the DLC.

     It has been on sale once – I know this as I have it & would never pay full price for it. You are however right in saying that they do favour the others in terms of reductions though.

     Premium makes them more money as a standalone perhaps?

   not great deals on most of them.

   The Crew for example, the sale price is still more than it would cost for the disc version, and that’s new, not preowned.

   the Arkham collection is probably the highlight, if you don’t already have the games.
   at a penny under £12, that’s about 4 quid each.
   well worth it, even Origins is worth getting when it’s that cheap. ^_^

   I’ve been tempted by The Order several times now but the bad reviews have really put me off it. It looks so damn good though (graphical). Maybe I should just watch it played through on YouTube

   Nothing really for me this week. Might give Evil Within another go actually now the bars are
   gone. I found the stealth parts too difficult with the aspect ratio.

   Good times for my wallet, hopefully I should be all done with the Witcher in time for MGS v!

       I thought the order was a stinker of a game. I was looking forward to it, when I saw the mixed reviews I held out until it was cheap. Even then when I played through I just felt it was flawed and so disappointing. I could not wait to get it over with just to find out how the story ended. Probably one of the worst games I have seen on the PS4.

     I liked The Order. It’s not my favourite game ever but it was enjoyable for the most part. There were some great ideas but it lacked heart and the story didn’t really go anywhere.

     Still, I hope they make a sequel one day. Now that the introduction is out of the way, they could go in some interesting directions and make something really special.

     It’s a bit pricey at the moment for a digital copy though.
