Curve Sends Nova-111 & A Vita To Space

Funktronic Labs’ Nova-111 releases today and to celebrate the launch publisher Curve Studios have attempted to do something different. In fact instead of just settling for a launch trailer Curve decided to send Nova-111 running on a Vita into Space. The event was done to make Nova-111 the first indie game to get sent to the final frontier, and you can see the journey which was recorded on a GoPro.

Our review for Nova-111 wasn’t sent to space but you can read what our Cael thought of it right here. The game is available now on PS4, PS3, Vita, and Steam. An Xbox One release will occur on August 31st, while a Wii U release will occur later this year.

  1. That’s pretty cool! But did the Vita work when they got it back? This is good science, we need to know!!

    • I’m reliably informed that it did work when they got it back. Also, though you can’t see it, the Vita is actually running the game all the way up into space.

      • Thanks Tef, my science itch is now scratched! I love a good weather balloon in space video, the formula has not gotten tired.
