Forza Motorsport 6 Demo Will Be Available September 1st

Turn 10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport 6 has gone gold, and has also confirmed that a demo for the racer will be available on September 1st. The demo will include night racing and wet weather as well as full damage and cockpit views. The game will run at 1080p and 60fps. Anyone who tries out the demo will receive the new Ford GT in the main Forza Motorsport 6 game.

Some new cars were announced for Forza Motorsport 6 and those are the 1979 BMW #6 BMW Motorsport M1 Procar, 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar, 2014 Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS Ultra, 2014 BMW #5 Ebay Motors 125i M Sport, 2014 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing Corvette C7.R, 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT, 1976 Lotus #5 Team Lotus 77, 1969 Lola #10 Simoniz Special T163, 2014 Ferrari California T, and the 2015 Mercedes Benz AMG GT S. The game’s track list has also been confirmed and you’ll be racing in the following locations.

Forza Motorsport 6 will be releasing for Xbox One on September 15th, which is only in a couple of weeks. Those who ordered the Ultimate Edition will get access to the main game five days before the regular release date.

  1. A strangely small yet thorough and comprehensive track list there, with most of the essentials included. Add to that Formula E and V8SC cars, and Forza 6 looks incredibly attractive.

    • Utterly concur, there’s enough there to satisfy the most adulteress wheelspinner and at 1080p, 60fps….nailed it!

  2. If you don’t play the demo then do you not get the new Ford GT? It’s the main car in F6 after all, being on the cover, at E3 etc… Seems odd if that’s the case.

    • I think they mean if you play the demo, you’ll get immediate access to the Ford GT in the career without needing the in-game credits to do so. Don’t play the demo, and you’d have to earn the credits in career. At least that’s how I read it.
