World of Final Fantasy follows a brother and sister, Reynn and Lann, in the land of Grimoire. The world includes scenes and characters from other Final Fantasy games so it sounds like Square Enix are doing a ‘Kingdom Hearts’ on their own franchise and mashing them all together.
The game is aimed at the younger market and lets you battle and collect monsters. Hmm, that sounds familiar.
World Of Final Fantasy hits PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next year.

The younger market? But I want it!
MrYd
Same here. The younger market wouldn’t appreciate it as much as us old people.
They’d just think “Aww, cute. A cactus ticket inspector on a train”.
The 43 year old me would realise it’s actual a cactuar. Being all cute. Who’s going to get the most enjoyment out of that?
Young people. They know nothing. And they’re a bit rubbish. ;)
Youles
Haha, point well made. I find the little characters very cute indeed! I’d be tempted by a Vita version but may need to appreciate all that cuteness in full PS4 glory!

I’m going to buy that for the younger person who lives in the house and I will definately not be playing it after the younger person has gone to bed.

Sounds like a great title for the Vita – huzzah.

OH MY GOD IT’S CACTUR! RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
So, this is the Kingdom hear…. oh no…
Oh no.
They could force Lighting in as the hero and hang on, it’s a FF pokemon game? Square, that already exists. It called Jade Cocoon. Only, this will most likely be a bit tedious and most likely be milked. The mere fact that the World of Final Fantasy is called that screams lazy title.
Also, why Final Fantasy? I mean, the franchise has always been aimed at the teen market and above. the younger market won’t give a damn about the characters and just want to collect monsters. or will want to play pokemon.

It looks like a great callback to the old FF games, with the chibi characters walking about the fantastically designed levels. And turn-based battles!
As Youles and Mr Yd said, it’s funny how they’re targeting the younger market with a game that seems designed for the older, nostalgic generation.
