There was a brief mention of World of Tanks coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan which we covered in News Snatch, but now the EU PlayStation blog has more details, huzzah!
World of Tanks is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer, 30-player tank battle game that has previously been found on PC and Xbox One. There are 350 tanks from seven nations to fight with, spread over five different classes of tanks to fit the style of play you like best.
The game will support all the usual PlayStation 4 features, including remote play, and will feature PS4 exclusive feature custom maps, custom tanks, and custom skins.  PlayStation Plus owners will get even more free goodies and exclusive offers, starting with an exclusive Girls und Panzer content. If you are wondering what that is, it’s an anime series about high school girls who battle tanks in the spare time, there’s a movie coming out at the end of November.

Yes. It’s very slow paced & tactical and can be quite good fun if you fancy something different to the usual online shooter.

Last week I was wondering who I could about whether there might be a film coming out later this year which featured high school girls who go to battle in full sized tanks. I should have gone straight to TC.
