Beyond: Two Souls Will Be Digitally Available On PS4 November 26th

Quantic Dream has announced that Beyond: Two Souls will be released on PS4 as a digital download from November 26th. The cost for game will be €29.99/£24.99. The studio also confirmed that that Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection will release on March 1st in North America, and March 2nd in Europe. Those who purchase Beyond: Two Souls on PS4 will receive a discount on Heavy Rain’s price when that is available.

Beyond: Two Souls on PS4 will allow players to play the game in chronological order from the start, instead of the original way in which the timeline was out of order.  Each scene will give a summary of the decisions made and how your actions compare to other players. The fight scenes will have increased difficulty too, and the Enhanced Experiments DLC will also be included.

  1. Sweet. Wasn’t expecting this so soon.

Loved Heavy Rain but never got around to playing this so shall jump onboard.

  2. Yass!

  3. I’d better play this soon then. Yet another game on ps3 that’s still in its wrapper. I love a bargain, but as I never get around to playing them before they get cheaper than what I bought them for, they’re not bargains for long.

    • Same here for Heavy Rain, is still untouched on my backlog pile. I’m really trying hard not to buy any game on sale anymore, unless I’m really sure to play it straight away.
That’s actually a good thing about sequels: it’s easier not to buy a game if I already have it’s previous iteration and never played it. ;o)

      • I know what you mean, still, it didn’t stop me from buying mass effect 2 in a sale, even though I’ve never played mass effect 1.
That’s another still in its wrapper :(

    • Then, I’d highly recommend you play ME2 sometime, that’s easily in my top ten of PS3 games. But, there’s always so many things to play… life is hard… ;o)

  4. Will bag the physical double edition in March. Never played Beyond and would like to play Heavy Rain again.

  5. To re-Platinum or not to re-Platinum. That is the question.

  6. Sweet. Will wait on the double pack as I preferred Heavy Rain, but am looking forward to playing both of these games again.

  7. I’m interested but i still have my PS3 copy so will probably wait for a similar ten quid psn store deal as when i picked up TLoU remaster and TR:DE.

  8. Fantastic game, if a bit short and needed more depth. Playing in a chroniclogical order is a wonderful edition and it may even solve the pacing issues. I do feel that thoughts should have been something and i will admit, the fights are tricky due to camera issues. However, it has a strong story and being Aiden is so much fun. That and there is one thing you do not do. Harm Jodie. Otherwise, he will find so many ways to make you pay. Do wish that the police station scene was playable though.

I doubt i would pick it up again as i intend on keeping my PS3 and collection but i would recommend those with PS4 to do so. :-)

Also, Heavy Rain is worth it.
