THQ Nordic To Release Retail Version Of Halo Wars 2 On PC

THQ Nordic has confirmed a partnership with 343 Industries and Microsoft that will allow the company to release a physical version of Halo Wars 2 for PC. There will be both a standard and ultimate version available with both editions granting a digital copy to unlock on the Xbox One via the Play Anywhere initiative that was unveiled last year by Microsoft.

The Ultimate edition will include the season pass and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, as well as four day early access. Halo Wars Definitive Edition will support up to 4K resolution on Windows 10 along with all the DLC. It has also been optimised for the Xbox One. The season pass will feature new leaders, blitz cards, units, and additional missions for the campaign.

The RRP for the standard edition is €59.99/$59.99 and will release February 21st, while the RRP for the ultimate edition is €79.99/$79.99 and that will release February 17th.
