The EU PS Store Summer Sale Is Now On, Includes PSVR Games

DarleyDale, Measham ,Droitwich, and Cannock. If you are of a certain age you will know why those places relate to this post as there is yet another sale on the EU PlayStation Store with up to 60% off selected titles.

There are some big names in the sale, and a whole host of PlayStation VR games are also discounted. Bargains include Knack for four quid, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for £6.49, and Star Wars Battlefront for a penny under eight pounds. Apologies to our readers overseas, I can only view the prices in them old fashioned pounds.

  1. Sony are getting very very good indeed with this sales business. Nothing here to tempt me but well done them nonetheless.

  2. Thank you for putting prices next to the game. You are the real MVP

  3. I’m going to be broke with all these PSVR game discounts!

  4. Nice! I don’t have VR but was curious how cheap DriveClub VR was, but it’s apparently unavailable for me and ‘Tell me more’ button says I already have the season pass. Does that mean it’s free?

    • There’s actually two links for the VR upgrade, have a look for the other one and that’ll give you the price.

      • Also, it look like the sale prices are good until 16/08/17 – should make it a little less taxing on the wallet! :)

      • Thanks, curiosity sated! And I’m gonna splash out on a Switch this payday or the next, so the wallet is getting no rest :)

      • No, the summer sale ends on the 2nd. It’s the never ending “totally digital” sale that has a whole bunch of new things on sale until the 16th, which will then presumably get replaced with a different bunch of things.

Either way, we’ll just assume Sony hate your wallet anyway. Kind of glad I haven’t got the expensive hat yet, because that’d be more evidence of Sony hating my wallet and backlog. (Although I might end up with one next month)

      • Ah ok, i just quickly checked the dates on a few of the PSVR titles i wanted. I’ll go through the list later in case i ‘need’ any of the shorter term sales.

  5. It’s disturbing how many of the things they’ve got on sale are showing up as “Purchased” for me, due to previous sales and PS+

So nothing for me this time. My backlog will be pleased.

Until I realise that’s not the whole list. Polybius for £7.39? Just days after being reminded of it by Nine Inch Nails?

And the season pass for The Division for half price reminds me I really should finish the bloody game first before buying extra stuff for it.

  6. DFS!

  7. My hometown of Cannock has finally made it! Namechecked on TSA!

  8. Mad Max is an absolute bargain at £9.99 if you’ve yet to make the jump

I’m not always struck by open world games, they always seem incredibly repetitive to me but something about Mad Max just kept me hooked from beginning to end, whether it was the satisfying combat or not to bad driving I don’t know.

I finished the game & am now mopping up all the scavenging locations and collectibles – Which is something I’ve never done in any game

  9. It’s quite amazing how much of a UX nightmare this shop is. With a background image like that, it just hurts my eyes and it feels like they don’t really want to sell me anything. Thank God I have a web developer toolbar on my browser so I can easily adjust that.

Tempted by The Witness for just 6.99, and by Outlast 2, and others… Oh my backlog…! I have to be strong, maybe switch on that background image again and stay away…

  10. Urgh, my backlog just got bigger. But I haven’t played The Last Guardian yet and at that price I couldn’t resist.
