PS Store’s Big In Japan Sale Returns With Deals On Yakuza, SOTC, Persona 5 & More

The PlayStation Store’s semi-regular Big in Japan sale is back and (presumably) bigger than ever. If it’s even tangentially related to Japan, expect to find it here with a healthy reduction in price to go with it.

We don’t have a big list from the EU PS Blog, because they’ve decided to go one step further than not posting discount percentages or prices and simply not posted about the sale at all so far. We’ll add a list when they get around to it, but in the meantime, you can simply head to the PlayStation Store to see what’s going on.

Not all of these are going to be the best ever prices – let us know in the comments if something really stands out but some of the highlights include:

  • Yakuza Kiwami – £9.99
  • Yakuza 0 – £18.99
  • Shadow of the Colossus – £19.99
  • Bloodborne GOTY – £15.99
  • Nioh – £19.99
  • Persona 5 – £24.99
  • Tekken 7 – £24.99
  • NieR: Automata – £24.99
  • Valkyria Chronicles Remastered – £6.49
  • LocoRoco 2 Remastered – £3.99
  • Parappa The Rapper, Locoroco, Patapon Remaster Collection – £7.99

If you’ve been curious about Yakuza, now really is the time to dive in.

Update: As promise, here’s the PS Blog’s list, cunningly hidden behind an expandable tab thingy.

Big in Japan

I'm probably wearing toe shoes, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!

  1. Bloodborne The Old Hunters dlc €7.99 – but am i feeling brave enough :)

    • I’ve just finished Bloodbourne, would thoroughly recommend the DLC it adds an enormous amount of fun content to the game, both in things to fight and weapons to take forward.

      • Thanks for the recommendation, i’ll grab it – i just need to make a little more progress in the main game.

  2. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered – £6.49

Never did get around to this… Think it’s the time to jump on board!

  3. Picked up Tekken as the ministry of home affairs used to love it in the PS2 era.

  4. I’ve been circling Yakuza for a while now so this has pushed me over the edge! Picked up Dark Souls 2 as well as I’ve just finished and loved Bloodbourne. A lot of temptation in this sale, could have easily spent a lot more!

  5. How did I just go through all the games on sale and find £200 worth of stuff of interest? Better check that list to see if anything is cheaper elsewhere, or has been on sale for less in the past.

Or just work on that backlog instead.

  6. Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers released January 2017. It’s digital only. When it was released it was listed as $59.99. I thought this was too much & figured I’d get it when it went on sale. It has never budged from that price yet!! I just find that amazing.

I’ve got plenty to keep me busy so I’ll just thank them for saving me some money!!
